A radical remake of the classic RO experience, leaning towards action gameplay, yet still capturing that wonder of the original but in a new light. I really enjoyed re-learning the game, everything from systems to jobs to monsters are remade for the better. Server has been getting consistent updates, and I couldn't recommend it enough if you want an engaging RO experience that respects your time but doesn't give you instant gratification.

Pretty good server. No p2w, all custom and motivates you to play every day. Balanced econmy, balanced classes and hardcore gameplay, ADM created a server that makes you think and theorycraft of everything since it's a whole new gameplay for ragnarok.

I would suggest playing here. A work in progress with a dev that clearly has a dream and loves what he does. Dislikes - The idea certain that runes, drop bonuses, HP bonuses etc all come with SP penalties and the like. The penalty of not wearing an ideal equipment is already enough. Random modifiers on equipment need to be culled down and make more sense, so getting "80% good" items isnt so daunting. The tome system just adds more annoying gear switching and could be made simpler.

Return to Morroc is an extensively customized Ragnarok Online experience, closer to a remake of the entire game with all new classes and regular content updates. PRM isn't afraid to break the mold and try new things, and borrows from more modern MMOs for things like mechanics-driven combat. Content is carefully thought out and feels like it fits as part of the world instead of just being slapped on. Class balance is surprisingly solid given that the game has 30+ classes made form scratch.

I'd like to preface this with, like alot of you reading this, I have played a good amount of servers over the past 15 years. Return to Morroc doesn't fit into any server category I have encountered before. It is a completely new Ragnarok Online experience, with bold and interesting new concepts, completely custom classes and content. It would be a disservice to explain how much work and thought went into almost every faucet of the server, so I would encourage you to read my forum post.

There's so much to be told here its hard to write a full review of such an extensive modded server, honestly after playing this one it will be hard to return to regular servers, we have so much to do here so much new class and content, everything is very well balanced its astonishing, i dint have so much fun playing ro for so many years, it is hard for new players but even for me ( im bad ) its still fair, i really hope to see much more player join the server, give it a try itl worth ur time!

its the best server i've played on since the end of novaRO, I'm very satisfied and plan to spend a lot of time having fun on the Return to Morroc! i love how the comunity is always willing to help the adm Ornstein is a genius, greaty job.

Very quality new content (dungeons, classes, fields, skills, items, etc.) with plenty of attention to detail and a satisfying level of internal consistency. Respects your time, 99% of classes are self-sufficient starting from 0 and no agonizing grind is needed before post-level cap content. Completely F2P. Admin is very open and communicative, even if design/balance decisions can be puzzling at times. Not much in the way of GvG/PvP (yet) and using market as low-level is hard, storage space sux.

Great character building, satisfying and achievable drops while also having long term chase items to go for. New content and balance updates regularly which keeps things fresh. No pay2win. Tons of items, jobs and content to explore and learn. Solo friendly but also has party potential.

Me and my small community plays it and so far— the nostalgic feeling decades ago, where you explore things and discover something new is definitely present in the server. Active GM and friendly community. 800-900 highest peak, customized RO with a fresh look, design, and gameplay. I also actively stream the game and I do hope this gets more popular.
